Overview

Embark on a captivating journey through the historical and spiritual heart of Turkey with the Istanbul & Seven Churches Tour. This meticulously curated itinerary combines the rich cultural tapestry of Istanbul with a pilgrimage to the Seven Churches of Revelation, offering a unique blend of ancient history, religious significance, and modern charm.

The tour begins in Istanbul, the only city in the world that spans two continents. Immerse yourself in the enchanting atmosphere of the Hagia Sophia, a masterpiece of Byzantine architecture, and marvel at the intricate designs of the Blue Mosque. Navigate the bustling Grand Bazaar, where vibrant colors and the scent of exotic spices fill the air, and stroll along the Bosphorus to witness the seamless fusion of European and Asian influences.

As the journey progresses, delve into the spiritual realm with visits to the Seven Churches of Revelation, as mentioned in the biblical Book of Revelation. Explore the ancient city of Ephesus, a site that once rivaled Rome in grandeur, and visit the House of Virgin Mary, believed to be the final residence of the mother of Jesus.

Journey through Smyrna, Pergamon, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea, each carrying its own historical and religious significance. Uncover the stories of the early Christian communities and witness the archaeological wonders that stand as testaments to a bygone era.

Beyond the religious landmarks, the tour offers opportunities for cultural immersion. Experience the warm hospitality of local communities, savor traditional Turkish cuisine, and engage with the vibrant traditions that have been passed down through generations.

For those seeking a spiritual pilgrimage, the Istanbul & Seven Churches Tour provides moments of reflection and contemplation at the sacred sites. Connect with the ancient roots of Christianity and gain a deeper understanding of the historical context that shaped the early Christian communities.

A minimum of 5 people is required to organize the tour.

  • star ratingGreat day out - Our tour guide Esra is very knowledgeable and incredibly friendly. We had a smaller tour group which always great because it gave us the flexibility to ask questions and move around more freely. We were in no way rushed and were given ample time to view all the sites. All in all, an incredible day out and I really would recommend.

  • star ratingJourney through time to Asia Minor’s ancient empire… - Well managed, punctual and comfortable tour. Our lovely guide, Esra, was knowledgeable, amicable and engaging. Ephesus itself naturally needs no endorsement because it’s, well, Ephesus. Land of gods, warriors, scholars, priests and royalty
